🛡️ 100% On-Device Photo Processing: SpinStory processes all your photos directly on your device. We do not upload your photos, videos, or camera data to any servers. No sign-up or user account is required.

1. About SpinStory

SpinStory is a photo editor and utility app developed by Modern Craft. It reframes and converts photos into 3:4 story-ready dimensions (3024 × 4032) to support the 3D spin/flip look on Instagram Stories.

2. Information Collection & Photo Handling

SpinStory is built with privacy at its core:

  • Photos stay on-device: Access to your camera and photo library is requested solely to enable photo selection, cropping, reframing, and exporting. Your images are never uploaded to, stored on, or shared with our servers or any third parties.
  • No User Accounts: SpinStory does not create user accounts, require logins, or collect personal identity details (such as your name or email address).

3. Advertising & Device Identifiers (Google AdMob)

SpinStory uses Google AdMob to display advertisements within the app.

  • Advertising ID: Google AdMob may collect and process device identifiers, specifically the Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android or IDFA on iOS, along with IP address and general app performance telemetry.
  • Purpose: These identifiers are used by Google AdMob for ad delivery, ad personalization, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated ad analytics.

4. Google Play Data Safety Declaration

For transparency regarding Google Play Data Safety requirements:

• Photos and Videos: Not collected / Not shared. Processed 100% locally on your device.

• Device or Other IDs (Advertising ID): Declared as collected and processed by third-party ad networks (Google AdMob) for advertising and analytics purposes.

• Data Encryption in Transit: Ad network network requests are transmitted securely over HTTPS.

5. Managing & Opting Out of Advertising IDs

You have full control over your Advertising ID directly from your device settings:

  • Android: Open Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads) where you can reset your Advertising ID or delete it entirely to opt out of personalized ads.
  • iOS: Open Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking to manage app tracking permissions.

6. Third-Party Disclaimers

SpinStory is an independent application developed by Modern Craft. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram, Meta Platforms, Inc., Ray-Ban, or EssilorLuxottica.

When you choose to tap "Share to Instagram Stories", your edited photo is passed directly to the official Instagram app installed on your device using native system share components.

7. Children’s Privacy

SpinStory does not knowingly collect personal data or target children under the age of 13.
