These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Deep Talk mobile application (“App”), developed and maintained by Modern Craft.
By downloading, installing, or using Deep Talk, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. About Deep Talk
- Purpose: Deep Talk is a conversation starter app designed to foster meaningful connections.
- Local & Offline: The app works 100% offline. No account is required.
- Developer: Modern Craft
2. No Account & Privacy
We prioritize your privacy by minimizing data collection:
- We do not require user registration.
- We do not collect personal data or conversation history.
- All your bookmarks (“Favorites”) are stored locally on your device.
3. Use of Content
The questions and topics provided in the app are for personal, non-commercial use only.
- You may not copy, republish, or sell the content (questions/cards).
- You may not reverse engineer the application.
4. In-App Purchases
Premium Content
While the core app is free and ad-free, we may offer optional paid Card Packs.
- All purchases are processed securely by Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Purchases may be restored if you switch devices, provided you use the same store account.
- Since we don't have user accounts, purchase restoration relies entirely on the App Store/Play Store mechanisms.
5. Disclaimer: Not Professional Advice
Deep Talk is a self-help and entertainment tool.
- It is NOT a substitute for professional couples therapy or counseling.
- We are not responsible for the outcomes of conversations sparked by the app.
- If you are in an abusive relationship, please seek professional help immediately.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deep Talk and Modern Craft are not liable for:
- Any emotional distress or relationship issues resulting from use.
- Data loss (e.g., losing “Favorites”) due to device failure or app uninstallation.
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Use of the app is at your own risk.
7. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Continued use of Deep Talk means acceptance of updated Terms.
